She holds 24 US patents for her work in intrnal combustion engine controls and diagnostics. She currently serves as an invited Ambassador for the US Department of Energy C3E (Clean Energy, Education, and Empowerment) initiative. She is a member of the SAE International Board of Directors and Trustee of the SAE International Foundation, along with being an active member of SWE and a senior member of IEEE.
