Jo Fuller GargalyJo Fuller Gargaly Is Calypso's human. This is her first time narrating a book for Calypso. Jo is a retired 4th grade teacher and elementary Library Media Specialist. Jo's love for painting began in high school. She enjoys painting landscapes, portrais, and animals that invoke joyful emotions. Jo and her husband, Charlie, live in Barnstead, New Hampshire with their Golden Retriever, Calypso. Calypso takes Charlie and Jo hiking, biking, visiting their three grown sons, and exploring the United States. Jo's life experiences include growing up sailing Long Island Sound and saving her money for horseback riding. During college, Jo rowed and coached the University of New Hampshire women's crew club. One summer, Jo rode her bicycle across the country from Washington to Connecticut.
