Jingyang FangJingyang Fang is currently a full Professor in the School of Control Science and Engineering at Shangdong University, China. Prof. Fang has been working on grid-tied converters for more than a decade: he was the first person to use group theory to inestigate the symmetries of power electronics and his inventions include the lattice converter, fractal converter, several virtual inertia control schemes, and 3 novel trap filters. He has authored/ coauthored 40 IEEE Transaction papers, and a book, which received over 2,700 citations according to Google Scholar. He has 2 licensed patents, transferred to MR and Evercomm respectively. He led 6 projects as a Principal Investigator, with total research funding exceeding 1000,000 EURs.
