Jimmy StokesJimmy Stokes spent his working life teaching and trying to resolve young people's problems. Having worked with secondary pupils in a variety of schools, Jimmy strived to ensure that each one aspired to fulfil their potential. During his career, he woked with pupils from ethnic minorities. He recognised that outside influences could prevent these students fulfilling their potential. Understanding this problem led to him ensuring that these youngsters received the appropriate level of help to do justice to their future prospects. Disappointingly throughout a long career, Jimmy only worked with one person of colour and this individual was a supply teacher.
