He previously worked for The Tennessean as a columnist, featureswriter and restaurant critic and has also written for national publications including "Bon Appétit," "Garden and Gun," and his work has been included in "Cornbread Nation: The Best of Southern Food Writing." Myers also helped launch the Fatback Pig Project in north Alabama where he worked to develop humane and natural protocols for small hog farmers, oversaw the operation of a USDA abattoir, and directed a gourmet charcuterie production facility.
