Jim GreenAfter retiring from 31 years of teaching at Phoenix's Carl Hayden High School, author and longtime resident Jim Green now serves as the director of alternative education at Tolleson Union High School District. His coauthor Jimmy Ruiz, a retired Tolleon postmaster, served in that capacity for more than 28 years. As a community historian, Ruiz has written several articles on the Tolleson area.
