Jill M CarlsonJill Carlson grew up with two musical sisters in Arlington, Virginia - the setting which built the authentic foundation for The Fugitive's Concerto. She lived through the final years of World War II only a few miles from the Pentagon, where she worke in intelligence during high school summers. She graduated from Westminster College, gained an English teaching degree, and married Jerry Carlson in 1959. Together they experienced four years in the U.S. Air Force and a journalistic career. Their two daughters and one son are skilled writers. Jill and Jerry stay close to seven grandchildren, two of whom have talent for piano and musical composition. A former English teacher and piano coach, she remembers Virginia, Pennsylvania, Montana, Morocco...and Iowa, where she and husband Jerry live and work on a three-generational farm. Read More Read Less
