Jiadong XiaoJiadong Xiao is currently a postdoctoral scholar with Prof. Kazunari Domen at Shinshu University in Japan and a research fellow in Japan Technological Research Association of Artificial Photosynthetic Chemical Process (ARPChem). He obtained his Ph.D.in the group of Prof. Hongbin Cao at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2018, and was a joint Ph.D. student in the group of Prof. Angelika Brückner at Leibniz Institute for Catalysis (LIKAT) in Germany in 2016−2018. He did postdoctoral research with Prof. Bert M. Weckhuysen at Utrecht University in The Netherlands in 2018-2019 before moving to Japan. His research interest includes advanced oxidation processes, environmental chemistry, catalytic in-situ/operando studies, and solar photocatalysis for overall water splitting. He has published around 30 peer-reviewed articles in Accounts of Chemical Research, ACS Catalysis, Environmental Science & Technology, Applied Catalysis B, Journal of American Chemical Society, etc. with over 1000 citations and H-index of 17 (Google Scholar).
