Jeya CarmichaelI am a retired teacher with a Master's degree in education. With all my experiences put together, I have 30 years of supervising and teaching students. I retired from my current district after 22+ years of service. Before this, I traveled with my husand and two children while he served in the Air Force. I enjoyed all the places we've been. We loved England and its quiet pace, lovely people, food, and outdoor markets. I love spending time with my family. My children are grown and working. I have two grandsons and one granddaughter. Then I have two great-grandsons who are, seven and 3 years old. We play lots of board games and do puzzles in the winter. We are outdoors in the summer in Michigan. My hobbies are reading and writing, my interest is in reading fantasy/magic fiction books, and soft apocalyptic books. My goal for writing books is a desire to see children excited to read a book they enjoy in their genre. I have always loved fantasy and soft magic. During my teaching years I read mostly educational non-fiction books and articles. My second goal is to see children read the series of books with a spiraling vocabulary in a book that interests them. This series of books is for anyone who enjoys this genre. I'm always picking up books written for children and teenagers in this genre. The second book is coming in about 5-6 months.
