She has been married to her high school sweetheart for 24 years and together they have five children, one son-in-law, one grandchil, and three dogs. She has called NW Arkansas home for the past 20 years and has been a therapist for the past 15 of those. She specializes in working with autistic and other neurodivergent populations, as well as substance misuse, addictions, and play therapy. Outside of her own private practice she also owns the first and only autistic-owned Neurodivergent-Affirming group counseling and consulting practice in NW Arkansas. She holds a BA in Human Services Counseling, a dual MS in Marriage and Family Therapy and Community Counseling, and an MBA with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship. She is currently working towards a Ph.D. in Change Leadership for Equity and Inclusion, with an emphasis on Community Leadership and Change. Her indigenous heritage is very important to her as she is a tribal member of the Citizen Band Potawatomi nation. In her spare time, she likes to research, read, write, run, hike, work out, dabble in arts and crafts on occasion, and spend time with her friends and family.
