Jessica AssanteJessica was born in Peru, from where Paddington Bear comes from. When Jessica was ten years old, her whole family moved to Australia. She works in accounting. One of the highlights of her life was volunteering at the 2000 Sydney Olympics as a Spanishinterpreter. Her first introduction to children's books was at the primary school's library when she was young. She read all the Spanish children's books she could get her hands on and then moved onto English-written children's books. Even back then, Jessica had a thirst for reading.
