Jesse Jai McNeil
(1947-1961) Served many years as pastor of the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Detroit, Michigan. A leader in civic and social as well as local religious affairs, he was also very active at the international Christian level, participating in severalmajor conferences on youth and education. He was serving as professor of Christian education at the California Baptist Theological Seminary in Covina, California, until his death in 1961.
