Each individual book of the Bible is a different and distinct literary unit. Therefore, it seems reasonable to suggest the Bible should be tudied, first and foremost, book by book. How we read and understand salvation history sets the framework around the way we understand the world and the lessons that it offers up to us. Understanding the Bible in its historical and cultural context we can not only unlock the past but we ca also recognize the 'signs of the time' and therefore be able to transform our personal future.
