It's here where he created bonds with people over the years to include many in the ice hockey community including his tenure as a member of the UNO Maveick men's Division I ice hockey team 2000-2003 earning him the program's first ever Mike Rehmeier "Biggest Heart Award." His connections with the Omaha, Nebraska, community went on to include owning and operating a successful deck building and restoration company providing services to thousands of happy and satisfied customers in the Omaha area. The successful endeavors continued when a decision was made to start a river tubing company on the outskirts of Omaha in 2013. The tubing company was a huge success in just 5 floating seasons before the UFO encounters occurred in 2017. After the close encounters a new path to success was created. The pathway led to a renewed relationship with Jesus Christ.
