Jennifer Wynne WebberBorn in Ottawa, Jennifer spent most of her early years in Saskatoon. She has also lived and worked in Montreal, Calgary, Edmonton, and, most recently, on Vancouver Island. Jennifer is the author of numerous plays including Beside Myself, also ublished by Scirocco Drama, and White Lies, published in the online literary journal Ryga: A Journal of Provocations. Her novel, Defying Gravity, was published by Coteau Books and nominated for three Saskatchewan Book Awards including Book of the Year. Jennifer has taught writing, worked as a dramaturge, and her theatre background includes many years working as a professional actor at theatres across Canada such as the Arts Club in Vancouver, Persephone, and Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, and Centaur Theatre in Montreal. She has also worked extensively in broadcast journalism and video production, including thirteen years with CBC News as a host and television journalist specializing in arts features and documentaries.
