Jennifer S DavisOriginally from Alabama, Jennifer S. Davis is the author of three collections of short stories including Her Kind of Want, winner of the Iowa Award for Short Fiction, and Our Former Lives in Art (Random House), a Barnes and Noble Discover Great New Witers selection. She has published prose in such journals as The American Scholar, One Story, The Paris Review, Tin House, Zoetrope: All Story, Oxford American, Epoch, The Georgia Review, and Fiction, among others. Currently, she is an Associate Professor of English at LSU, where she serves as Director of the Creative Writing Program. She lives in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with her husband and four young sons.
