Jennifer ArianoI am a new author from New Jersey, writing my first children's book. I was inspired by our rescue dog Duke, a.k.a., Mr. Manooks, who I realized loved road trips and adventures. Vinnick's character was based on our two sons, Vinnie and Nicky, who ador their dog, Duke. Myhusband, Jason, is the driver of our many road trips and also portrays as the character Vinnick. Henrietta's character is my daughter-in-law, Stephanie. Stephanie is super intelligent. She tells the story of how she was the first person to set eyes on Duke before we adopted him.
