Jen WelterKnown as a woman of many firsts, Dr. Jen Welter is a pioneer in the sports world. Not only was she the first female coach in the NFL, but she is also the first Female head coach in Madden. Known for her innovative thinking, pioneering spirit, and powrful voice, Dr. Jen's messages have been celebrated around the world. From the sport referred to as the final frontier for Women in Sports, Welter has continued to show that barriers are meant to be broken, presence and progress are powerful, and diversity in teams and in thought are essential to innovation. Knowing that there was no clear path for women in football, Welter decided that education in conjunction with her practical experience as one of the best players in the world would make her a unique value proposition to the sport. In 2013, Welter added a PhD to her list of credentials, as well as her 2nd gold Medal.
