Jen OakesJEN OAKES has been writing since her mom gave her a pen and a journal when she was a little girl and made her sit in her room for an hour of "quiet time" every day. And now that she's a mom, she realizes that her mom was a genius-not just for the whoe "send your kid to their room for a quiet time" thing, but also because it developed in Jen a deep love for writing. She considers it one of the greatest privileges of her life to be a part of watching and telling stories of individuals who have been redeemed by the grace of God. Jen is passionate about coffee, listening to vinyl records, open windows, reading, writing, hiking, being outside, and people.
