Jeffrey L KuhlmanJeffrey L. Kuhlman is an experienced educator and has worked internationally for many years as an educator, business owner, and ship's master. As both captain and educator, his three years working in Africa, three years in India, a year in South Kore, a year in the Persian Gulf, mission work up the Amazon and elsewhere in Brazil, and training in Chile has provided him with a global view of the human spirit and in-depth experience with personal development and communication. As an Education Consultant and Student Learning Advocate, he is a member of The Kuhlmans teaching and presentation team under the name Classroom CPR. He currently speaks to and trains education professionals in classroom management and differentiated learning. Jeffrey Kuhlman has written for several trade magazines and spoken to professional organizations domestically and internationally on the topics of Best Practices in Maritime Security and Defense Training, Disaster and Emergency Management, and Training the Trainer. Prior to his civilian career at sea, he was a licensed History teacher in New Jersey and taught language in the Republic of South Korea. Kuhlman has recently retired as an Adjunct Instructor at Nova Southeastern University. He has written curriculum for and taught the Maritime Track for a Master's Degree in Disaster and Emergency Preparedness at Nova Southeastern University, Florida. Kuhlman is proud to have honorably worn the uniforms of the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, and Army National Guard. His combat experience was as a field Hospital Corpsman assigned to the Eleventh Marine Regiment, First Marine Division, Republic of South Vietnam.
