He is a Professor in the Center for the Study of Higher Education and Directorof the Arizona Medical Education Research Institute (AMERI). Previously, he served as Department Head for the Department of Educational Policy Studies & Practice as well as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs in the College. Jeff has also been a courtesy appointment in the Department of Medicine at the University of Arizona.
