Jeffrey DingMr. Jeffrey Ding is a medical student at the University of British Columbia. He is an avid equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) researcher with specific focus on gender, racial, and ethnic disparities in medicine. He has published 19 peer-reviewed rticles (PubMed), the majority of which are aimed at increasing awareness of workforce disparities and advocating for institutional action to combat systemic inequities. Mr. Ding has studied disparities within medical schools, medical specialties, professional societies, journal editorial boards, clinical trials, and Canadian health authorities. He has been an effective voice at mobilizing and inspiring meaningful change at the national level through delivering and leading EDI workshops including the Canadian Conference on Physician Leadership and Vancouver Physician Staff Association.
