Jedidiah RamalapaJedi Ramalapa's experience and knowledge is rooted in Broadcast Journalism. She began her career as a Radio and Television reporter at the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) in 2001 where she assumed several roles including being a radio jurnalist, news anchor for radio news bulletin on SAfm and Radio 2000, a current affairs producer, voice-over artist and producer for SABC's flagship investigative program Special Assignment. During her tenure at the SABC, she was sent on a number of international assignments to cover the opening up of China's Economy (2006), the war in Lebanon (2006), and the ratification of the Kyoto Protocol in Canada (2005) among others. In 2009, she joined Inter-press News Service as a Multimedia editor, responsible for creating the agency's african radio podcasts platform. She is also the recipient of the United Nations Reham Al-Farra Memorial Journalism Fellowship (2008). Recently she worked in South Sudan as a Media Trainer for Canada's largest international media development organization; Journalists for Human Rights (JHR).
