Her public readings include Weidner Center for the Performing Arts, Wisconsin Public Radio and other venues. She has exhibited her drawings and paintings in the Midwest and in Mexico City, and her artwork hangs in corporate and home settings. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and a Master of Arts degree in Arts and Cultural Management from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota.
