Jeanie GouldJeanie Gould is the author of Kaden's Shells: Embracing the 'Super powers' of children with differences. With over 30 years of first-hand experience raising her severely handicapped daughter, she wrote this childrens book with the hope of bringing awreness to those who have not yet had the opportunity to learn these early lessons of understanding and compassion for those with differences. She is also the author of Mommy... Move the Sun, a memoir showing that even with a dire diagnosis, joy can shine through. It can give hope for other families experiencing the challenges of raising a handicapped child, reminding them they are not alone as they struggle with doctors, government agencies, frustration and guilt. She began her 25+ year marketing career in the book publishing division of Bon Appetit and Architectural Digest magazines. Following that, she entered the hospitality industry and worked in marketing and public relations for a 5-star resort in Carmel, California.
