Jean CarolJean Carol is an Emmy Award Winner for PM Magazine, Emmy Nominee for Guiding Light (Best Supporting Actress), and recipient of a cast SAG Award for the Academy Award Winning Best Picture Argo, directed by Ben Affleck. Jean started acting at age threeon the New York stage in Hansel and Gretel. She was the youngest member of the Junior Theater Repertory Company at Carnegie Hall and performed there for seven seasons. Moving to Florida, she was crowned Miami's Junior Miss, Miss Teenage Miami, and Miss Miami. She earned her B.A. and M.S. degrees in theater and broadcasting at Florida State University, and began producing and hosting at NBC and CBS affiliates in Orlando and San Diego. At this time, she was selected as one of GLAMOUR magazine's Outstanding Young Working Women, and inducted into their Hall of Fame. During her seven year, 795 episode run as Nadine Cooper on Guiding Light, Jean won a fan favorite Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Newcomer, and 4 Nominations for Best Comic Performance, Best Supporting Actress, Best Scene Stealer, and was named one of Daytime Television's All Time Favorite Funny Ladies. Jean starred as Catherine Devon in 146 episodes of the drama series Ocean Avenue. Other screen credits include The Mentalist, Monk, Working Class, Six Feet Under, Arli$$, Vanilla Sky, Payback, and a co-starring role alongside Jane Seymour in the CBS Movie of the Week, A Memory In My Heart. Jean filmed 1500-plus episodes over six years as Host and Producer on PM Magazine, interviewing celebrities from Cathy Rigby to Clint Eastwood. She won an Emmy, received four more Emmy Nominations for writing, producing and performing, and a National Best Feature Story Award. She hosted HSN's Great Escapes travel series, ESPN's Ski Scene: Ski Austria, and Healthy Lifestyles with Olympic gold medalist Bruce (aka Caitlyn) Jenner for three years.
