These reference the nature and implications of theology, religious violence, guilt, piety, art history, feminism,popular culture and conformity. - defining and considering how these are interpreted in adolescence. Becky draws inspiration from a childhood immersed in art; her father was writer and artist Peter Draper who in turn was close friends with Hubert (Nibs) Dalwood. Peter was also a founder member of the Devon Guild of Craftsmen. Alongside this creative home life are influences from a lifelong love of Dadaism, Surrealism, Kurt Schwitters and the effect of being a Protestant girl from an unconventional background in a convent school. Becky exhibits in the South West and has curated exhibitions in Torbay. She is a member of Torbay Culture Board and has been selected to represent Torbay as a Geoartist. Becky also runs the monthly spoken word Stanza Extravaganza in Torquay. Jason Disley is an author and poet from Manchester, who now resides on the English Riviera in the South West of England with his wife and children. his interests are The Beat Generation Literature, Jazz Music and the history of British Subcultures, in particular the Modernist movement of the 1950s and 1960s.
