Jasmine VandelJasmine Vandel, a Louisville, KY native, fell in love with writing at a young age. She enjoyed the freedom of allowing her imagination to run free. She began journaling when she needed an outlet to express herself. She fell in love with poetry after eading Phenomenal Woman, by her idol Dr. Maya Angelou, while in middle school. She started her career by using poetry to express how she felt. After embarking on a spiritual journey in 2011, she started her collection of over 50 poems and her blog, JassiePoetry.com.
