Jarod GibsonUpstairs at my gramma's house was a vast library of photo albums. During my visits, I would comb through the volumes of wedding, birthday, and vacation photos. On a trip to Universal Studios in the late 70s, she took a picture while on JAWS: The Ride There is a frenetic, playful energy and spirit of adventure contained in that image. It captivated me, and I would look at it again and again. Since then, I have gone on my own adventures, taking photos along the way. This collection of images embodies the same essence as my gramma's snapshot: that spirit of travelling, seeing, and experiencing; that playful energy; and, ultimately, a feeling of being alive.
