Jannie WilbrinkJannie, (Marianne), lived in Rotterdam, Holland after WWII. She married at age 24, and came to the United States in 1958. Los Angeles, California was their home and they had four children. The end of 1973, the family moved to a small town in Colorado Divorce followed and Marianne moved to Tucson, and married again, adding eight more children to the family. Marianne worked until finally retiring in 2009, at age 77. She stays active working their 5-acre lot and home. Hard work keeps her young, as 'survival of the fittest' remains her motto. She is very active in her church. Jannie's life took shape on paper over the years as she kept a journal. In an effort to bring to life the many stories contained in these pages she took writing courses at a local college. This has been a labor of love.
