Janis CrockettJanis Crockett lives in Round Rock, Texas, with her husband, Willie. She enjoys time with her family and especially with her grandchildren. She is also involved in her church activities and different ministries. Janis and Willie both grew up in the sgregated South during the sixties, and over the years, have been able to share their stories from both the Black and the White perspective. Those shared experiences helped Janis develop the story That Summer. Her husband taught her how he overcame the hate that was embedded in his heart back in his past.
