Janet S WahlJanet Wahl served 35 years in education. Her employment ranged from a special needs teacher in a residential treatment center for disturbed children, Tinley Park, IL, to a resource room teacher in Yorktown Heights, NY, to a dyslexic specialist in Whie Plains, New York, to a Director of Elementary Special Education in Lower Merion Schools in Ardmore, PA, to an Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction in the Mount Pleasant School District, Thornwood, NY, to an Assistant Professor in Education at Manhattanville College, Purchase, New York. She also was an Adjunct at Fordham University, New York City. After retirement, she completed 480 hours of face-to-face instruction at the Hypnotherapy Academy of America to become a Clinical Certified Hypnotherapist. Subsequently, she completed 14 courses at the ThetaHealing(R) Institute of Knowledge to become a ThetaHealing Master. She holds a BA from the University of Iowa (French), MA from the University of Northern Colorado (Teaching Emotionally Disturbed and Socially Maladjusted Children), a Professional Diploma in Educational Administration and a PhD in Language, Literacy, and Learning from Fordham University. She was a Fulbright Exchange Teacher at Kingsway College in London during the 1992-93 school year. She considers herself privileged to have been in Montague Ullman's dream group for over 15 years and to have taken his leadership training.
