Jane MacKenzieJane MacKenzie fell in love with France as a student in Aix-en-Provence. After graduating she went on to teach in Marseille, and then all over the world. In 2010 she took a government appointment as Head of the UK Liaison Office at CERN in Geneva, hoe to the Hadron Collider, where she worked alongside Nobel Prize Winner Professor Peter Higgs. Returning from overseas, Jane settled in a lovely village in the Scottish Highlands. But after her husband died she had a yearning to return to France and rediscover the sunshine culture.
