My love of learning that resulted, especially for literature and theater, led me through SUNY Albany, Penn State U., U.C. Nairobi, and U. Maine's 3 cmpuses. Teaching high school and college students, aspiring adults and those imprisoned, brought greater joy in poetry, both the encouraging and writing of it. My passion for acting and play writing held most of my creative attention, which earned recognition. But so had poetry writing, and I kept returning always to its lure. That love led me now to glean this small selection from drawers full of poems, older and new.
