Jamieson C KeisterThe author received his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Engineering Physics from Cornell University in 1960, and his doctorate in Physics from Georgetown University in 1970. His thesis was an experimental one on electron superconducting tunneling ito bulk gallium. He was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa honorary society during his stay at Georgetown. He has taught fundamentals of mathematics, Precalculus, Calculus I, II and III, Logic, non-euclidian geometry, and abstract algebra during his stay at Covenant College (located at Lookout Mountain, GA). He also started up a Dual Degree Engineering program with Georgia Tech. He has published a dozen or so technical papers. He also has experience in industry, working on various optical drug delivery systems at Alcon Labs in Fort Worth, TX and a variety of engineering projects, such medical patches, problems with asphalt roofing shingles, etc. at 3M located in St. Paul, MN.He is married to Susan, who was a great encouragement in writing this book.
