Jamie EwingJamie Ewing is a National Board Certified Teacher teaching at the Rudolf Steiner School in New York City. A 16+ year veteran educator, he has been recognized nationally/internationally for the way he inspires learning. Jamie was President Obama's guet at the White House as an attendee at a celebration of great educators in America. Jamie has been featured in many national newspapers, magazines, and national and local news programs. Jamie is the 2015 Henry Ford Innovative Teacher of the Year, 2014 MOHAI Teacher of the Year, and the 2013 National Academy of Arts and Science in Education Innovative Teacher of the Year. A 2010-2019 Microsoft Innovative Educator. Represented the USA at the 2013/2014 Microsoft PIL Global Forum in Prague, CR, and Barcelona, Spain. Jamie was a 2019 Microsoft Innovative Educator, 2020 SpheroHero, Prezi Board of Advisors -Education, and 2019 LittleBits BitStar! Jamie has a degree in Fashion Design from Virginia Commonwealth University and pursued that for 15 years before making the GREAT move over into teaching.
