Jamie B BrownJ.B. Brown was a high school art teacher for 21 years in the Guilford County Public School system. Teaching allowed her to channel her creativity to her students while still developing her art. She has shown her works in several juried shows and art alleries across the state. Mrs. Brown retired from teaching when she and her husband, William Brown, went to Russia and adopted their first child, Alexandria. Two years later, they returned to Russia and adopted their son, Peter. She turned her creative talents to writing and illustrating children's books as a tool to teach and inspire young minds.
