James WhaleyJames E. Whaley, RPh, MS, is currently an associate professor of health sciences andchemistry at Baker College of Owosso (Michigan) and coordinator of the Pharmacy TechnicianProgram, which is offered at nine Baker College campuses. He routiney teaches coursesin the Pharmacy Technician Program in addition to anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology, and general chemistry. Mr. Whaley has taught at Baker College of Owosso since 1995and was the first recipient of the college's prestigious Teacher of the Year award. He has beenselected as a member of Who's Who among College Teachers numerous times. Prior to comingto Baker, Mr. Whaley was twice ranked in the top 10 percent of instructors at the Universityof Illinois, where he was awarded a fellowship in cellular and molecular biology from theNational Institutes of Health.
