James PerryJames Perry is President and CEO of Alliance Portfolio & managing member of Alliance Mortgage Fund and Alliance Fund Management, LLC. Mr. Perry has specialized in placing private investor and pension fund capital into well secured trust deed investmets since 1989. He formed his first mortgage banking company in 1993, then co-founded The Alliance Portfolio in 1996. In 2007, Mr. Perry assumed complete ownership of The Alliance Portfolio and subsequently founded Alliance Portfolio Private Equity Finance in October of 2008. Mr. Perry has originated, funded, closed, and serviced over $700 million in private money trust deed investments. With over 30-year experience, Mr. Perry has successfully navigated his and his clients' way through several real estate cycles including the major market shifts in the early 1990's and 2007-2009. Mr. Perry is an active member of the California Mortgage Association, where he is a frequent speaker teaching classes on "Raising Investment Capital" "Customers for Life - Effective Marketing Strategies" and "Marketing and Business Development". Mr. Perry is a sponsor of the Orange County Bar Association, Orange County Apartment Owners Association, Orange County Financial Planners Association and South Orange County Board of Realtors.
