James MurroughI am Associate Professor with Tenure of Psychiatry and Neuroscience, and Director of the Depression and Anxiety Center for Discovery and Treatment (DAC) at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (ISMMS). My program of research utilizes molecular neuroimaging, and experimental therapeutics approaches aimed at elucidating the fundamental mechanisms underlying stress-related disorders in humans, including major depressive disorder (MDD), posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and anxiety disorders.
