James KrippnerJames Krippner is Professor of History at Haverford College, Pennsylvania. He is a scholar of Hispanic and Iberian studies, specializing in visual culture, in particular photographers and the images they produced in Mexico from the 1920s through the 940s. He is currently Associate Editor and Book Review Editor for The Americas: A Quarterly Review of Latin American History, and the author of Rereading the Conquest: Power, Politics, and the History of Early Colonial Michoacán, Mexico, 1521-1565 (2001).
