James JansonBorn in Cleveland, Ohio, James T. Janson is professor emeritus in art history and museum studies at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Early in his career he was assistant curator of education at The Detroit Institute of Arts where he created an wrote educational programs and materials for a variety of audiences, including children and young adults. His interest in space exploration began as a young boy with the formation of Project Mercury by NASA through Neil Armstrong's walk on the Moon to today's exploration of our solar system and beyond.
