Jagdish Kaur BansilHi, thank you for taking the time to read my book. I'm a 10-year-old girl with a passion for reading and writing. English has always been my favourite subject at school. I love reading books so much that sometimes my mummy catches me reading my book n bed when I should really be sleeping! I even hide my books under my pillow! I love books that take you on an adventure. My favourite authors include Jacqueline Wilson, Peter Bunzl, David Walliams, Enid Blyton and Robert McFarlane. I go to a fantastic inter-faith school that teaches us selfless values. Our school patron has given us a great motto; "Man Neeva, Mat Uchi", which means 'to be humble, to be wise'. I hope this is something I always continue to strive for. I've wanted to write my own book since I was 6 years old but never got the opportunity. I'm so grateful this opportunity has now come.
