Jagannath DashJagannath Dash (born 1947), formerly Reader in English and Principal, a poet, critic, story-teller and a translator has authored ten books including two monographs in English on poet Padma Charan Pattanayak and Basant Kumar Satpathy published by the entral Sahitya Akademi, India. His recent publication of History of English Literature in Odia titled 'Ingraji Sahityar Sankhipta Itihas' has got wide appreciation. His translation of Gourahari Das's Kete Rangar Jivan into 'The Shades of Life' has won the Indian Federation of Publishers' Award 2017. His forthcoming translation works are The Anti-romantics and Kimbadanti. A criticism book titled 'Ingraji Samalochana Sahitya O Tattva' and two Odia plays are going to come out soon.
