Jacquelyn Scott MhpJacquelyn Scott is a stay-at-home mother who, like many, faces the daily challenge of balancing multiple roles, such as spouse, parent, and individual. Prior to the birth of her children, Jacquelyn was largely involved with the University of Delaware where she obtained a master's of science degree in health promotion. Through her studies, she found that optimal quality of life is achieved through the balance of physical, emotional, social, mental, and spiritual health. Graduate school further opened the door to Jacquelyn's passion for writing to expand upon her interest in spirituality's influence on quality of life. Jacquelyn understands that placing one's trust in God is essential for successfully navigating the everyday norms and unexpected hardships, and she strives to share God's love with others through her writing. Jacquelyn's faith-inspired poem, "Engulfed," was published in the poetry anthology From a Window: Equality by Eber and Wein. She has also authored several articles for Examiner.com as the Wilmington faith and empowerment examiner. Jacquelyn and her husband, Brad, live in Newark, Delaware, with their three children.
