Jacob DamkaniBorn in 1952 into a religious Jewish family in Israel, Jacob Damkani soon realized God could not be found in the synagogue. A relentless search for meaning and purpose ensued and characterized the rest of his life. In 1977, Jacob accepted Yeshua haMahiach (Jesus Christ) as his Lord. He joined "Last Days Ministries" in the US under Keith and Melody Green before returning to Israel. There he began writing and printing Gospel tracts that he distributed in the streets of Israel at a time when no one else dared to do so. In 1984 Trumpet of Salvation to Israel was founded. Trumpet of Salvation to Israel is dedicated to bringing the Jewish Messiah to the Jewish people in a Jewish way. Trumpet of Salvation to Israel has hosted many believers from the nations for teaching and outreach at their Jaffa House and at Hotel Gilgal in Tel Aviv. In 2016 the documentary, "The Messenger" and in 2017 the film "A New Spirit", were released, both films based on his book "Why Me?"
