Jackie SaettoneI am an entrepreneur, adviser, and CEO leader with a global and multidisciplinary perspective. During my career, I have worked in the United States, Europe, Asia, and Latin America in the public and private sectors. My natural curiosity led me to stuy engineering, anthropology, business, and creative writing. This allows me to look at challenges and opportunities from different angles in order to help companies grow and thrive. I love to learn. During the past 25 years, I have started 3 different businesses and one NGO, advised companies, led CEO groups, served on boards, spoken nationally and internationally, and taught strategic management at the undergraduate level and innovation, service management and branding strategy at the postgraduate level. My love of people has allowed me to develop a large network of colleagues and friends around the world, whom I enjoy collaborating with. Inspiring people to become the best version of themselves is one of my drivers. For many years I taught and wrote about intangible assets and innovation, when Peru was chiefly focused on tangible asset management, leaving much value on the table. My book on innovation for entrepreneurs in emerging economies, El gran salto hacia la innovación, was published in Peru and Colombia and later chosen as part of a set of top management books to be distributed in corner shops (quioscos) all over Peru. For the past 7 years, I have led CEO groups to evolve personally and professionally, which has proved very enriching. On the advisory side, I currently advise no more than two companies at a time. In August 2019, I launched Chica Latina/Mundo Chica Latina. We produce content in social media and through our web, to inspire girls to become conscious, strong, creative, empathic women, capable of leaving their mark in the world. We are also publishing our own books through the Catalina & Sofia book series for children. We sell them on our web and through Amazon. The start-up is managed as a continuous prototype that is evolving. We are committed to girls´ education and donate a week of education to a girl from Kantaya - an after school for children in extreme poverty - for each book bought directly from us.
