Jackie MacDonaldJackie MacDonald is a retired Canadian track and field athlete who has competed in two British Empire and Commonwealth Games Pan American Games, Olympic Games and World Youth Games. In addition, she has participated in competitive swimming, diving, bsketball, water polo, cycling and rowing. She is a teacher with a B.Ed. and an M.A. in Linguistics. Ladies Don't Do That is her first book. Scrapbooks of her involvement can be found in the Archives of Ontario. She finally retired from her last sport, cycling, at the age of eighty-seven.
