J R BaconJohn Bacon grew up along the shores of Lake Champlain in the Adirondacks of northern New York. At age seventeen he dreamed of becoming a writer. He started his college education at the University of New York in Albany and fi finished at Adrian ollege in southern Michigan. After graduate school at Wayne State University in Detroit, John taught English in Farmington, Michigan for thirty-three years. He started his writing career when he retired.
