J P DalviBrigadier J. P. Dalvi was a Commander in the 7th Brigade of the Indian Army. He wrote a book based on the 1962 Sino-Indian war. It was titled Himalayan Blunder: The Angry Truth About Indias Most Crushing Military Disaster. Brigadier J. P. Dalvi was brn John Parashuram Dalvi on July 3, 1920, in Basra, Iraq. He was raised in Mumbai, where he attended St. Marys School and later St. Xaviers College. He joined the Indian Army in 1940. He was promoted to the post of Brigadier Administration in 1960.
